Yes, No, Maybe: What (Not) To Do in Dublin
Thinking of dabbling in Dublin? Do it! Tickets are often cheap and it’s a great city for a quick weekend getaway. Plus, I have some things you should do, some things I do not recommend and some things that I missed out on or weren’t for me, but that might…
Lost In Translation – Finnish Words We Could Use in English
When I did my student exchange in Finland I tried my best to learn Finnish, but never made it past the essentials like ‘Hello’, ‘ Where is the nearest bar?’ and ‘ Yes, sure I’ll join you to the sauna!’ But I did pick up some of their unusual words,…
Three Things I Am Sick And Tired Of Reading on (Travel) Blogs
‘The Eastern Bloc …” So…the Eastern Bloc isn’t a country or anything, but a term used in the Cold-War to refer to the countries that were part of the Warsaw Pact. For an open-minded traveller that is pretty naive – these countries are more like distant cousins, each with their…
The View from the Shard
Since February 2013, there’s been a new tourist attraction and landmark addition in London: the Shard – an iconic new building designed by Italian architect Renzo Piano (you might know him for that little building in Paris called Centre Pompidou) and is styled as a vertical city. Gelukkig kan je wel nog iets zien! Analoge fotografie is steeds een verrassing he. Niet dat ik zo’n expert ben maar ik nam mijn analoog toestel mee naar Berlijn vorig jaar en toen waren er zo’n 5 foto’s helemaal mislukt. Beetje zoeken en proberen dus!
I recently received a Canon AE-1 as a gift and took it to Barcelona with me last weekend. I’m absolutely terrified to get the prints developed! Haha I think these ones are beautiful in their own way though!
