Saturday at the Broadway Market

Broadway Market (3)

Though Broadway Market dates back to the 1980s, it is still a hugely popular destination for locals, Londoners and tourists alike. Understandably it has benefited from the relatively recent surge in street markets and visitors crowd the pavements each Saturday in east London.

Located between Regent’s Canal and London Fields, the Saturday market exists out of three markets– there is the Broadway Market, Netil Market and the local London Fields Primary Schoolyard. The market has over 100 stalls, each selling quality products and the options for foodies are endless. it’s one of those great places go to meet friends for lunch, and have chats over burgers and shakes (or go for a healthier option if you will) while buying your weekly veggies and fruits.

Next to a wide range of food you will also find stalls selling vintage fashion, local art, fresh flowers and unique furniture.

The atmosphere is great, the stallholders friendly, the food is amazing – the market is without a doubt one of London’s best food markets. If you love food and are planning a visit to London, definitely schedule a visit to the Broadway Market.

Broadway Market is open every Saturday from 9 – 5 .
Nearest stations: Bethnal Green, Haggerston.

  1. Hi! It looks like the kind of market I’d enjoy! There’s a similar thing in Barcelona right now, street food in Ciutadella Park but it only lasts for a few days. Thanks for the tip!

  3. Hey! Thank you for this post.
I haven’t been to Broadway Market in so long!
With so many great markets in London, it’s easy to keep going back to the ones you know.

    — Did you try any of the food on offer? Any recommendations?
I personally would have some trouble resisting those cute little cupcakes!

I love Camden Market as well during the weekends, although it’s a lot more hectic than Broadway Market.
    Hope this helps,
