Electric Brixton: Everything You Need To Know Before Visiting

Situated on Brixton Hill, Electric Brixton is the area’s second main music venue, playing second fiddle to the Academy in size, but by no means in terms of the artists and club nights it hosts. Housed in a former Edwardian theatre and later cinema, this is a place to catch artists on the rise, as well as established bands eager to get up close with the fans.

The Electric Brixton is only a 5-minute walk from Brixton Tube Station on the Victoria Line. You just turn left out of the station and head down Brixton Road, cross over the intersection with Coldharbour/Acre Lane onto Brixton Hill and the venue is right next to Lambeth Town Hall.

The National Rail Station is also close by, offering Southeastern services from Victoria.
A large number of buses stop near the Tube Station, connecting to Central and South London.
There are a small number of car parks nearby.
