Southbank Impressions: Four Things to Do at the Southbank
10am-10pm.
I must admit my first encounter with the Victoria & Albert Museum was far from perfect. My original impression 8/9 years ago was something in the lines of … 1. The name?! This was before the Young Victoria and for someone who didn’t know much about the monarchy it just…
As you can imagine, so far I haven’t been able to cross off going to a football game, taking that sleeper train or watching Eurovision in the Netherlands from my 2020 to-do list. But I have managed to cross off 10 things that I’m quite proud of. Go To The…
It may be the setting of Dickens’ Christmas Carol (and The Muppets Christmas Carol of course), but is London really that Christmassy of a place for food? I reckon it can hold its own, and to prove it, I’ll take you through some of the most British Christmas Food Traditions…
I couldn’t cram everything I wanted into my first post on the city, so hopefully this one will tick all the boxes! Copenhagen has great bike culture, one where you can safely cycle all over the city, which haven’t seen outside the Netherlands. Aaaah listen at me … sounding like…
Last week I bizarrely bumped into #TeamNL at Schiphol Airport, those brave orange jacketed souls heading to South Korea for the Winter Olympics. It filled me with Dutch pride, and as the events kick off in Pyeongchang here’s some Dutch words we should all hear more of. Gunnen To wish…

Indian fast food!?! Sound awesome! Have you tried all of those before? I’m adding it to my list for the next time I’m in London. I’m always looking for something new to do that’s non-touristy.

Definitely check it out.
Thanks for the follow, love your blog! And this cute little video – I love Southbank, it’s such a creative little part of london and always something to explore there. I went to the food market over summer and had one of the most amazing burgers at a stand called bill or beak (or something like that!) Definitely a place to visit to anyone coming to London, your video captures it perfectly ^^
