New Year's Eve parties in London

Spending New Years Eve in London? Here are the five New Year’s Eve parties to see out 2014 in style

FRANKIE SAYS…HEAD TO MAGGIE’S FOR NYE

No need to panic regarding where to go, or what to see this New Year, just “Relax”, take a chill pill, and head to the “Frankie Goes To Hollywood” style 80s night at Maggie’s. ‘Simon says’ it’s all about what Frankie says… and he (and all the Maggie’s bar staff that will be dressed in branded Frankie T’s) say NYE!

This retro rendezvous will go on from 9.30pm – 4am, the dress code will be ‘80s and awesome’ and all guests will be welcomed with a Moët & Chandon champagne reception. Warm bacon butties will also be served at 2am, to help replenish crazy 80s dancing energy levels – what better way to begin your January detox eh!?…(it doesn’t technically start till you have been to bed)! For those that have been lucky enough to snap up a seat, there will also be specially created Belvedere Vodka table menus – as vodka is of course the best thing to help wash down an early morning snack!

So head back to the future this New Year’s Eve at Maggie’s

DATE: Wednesday 31st December // TIME: 9.30pm – 4am // PRICE: £30 earlybird (£20 for members), £40 on the door (£30 for members) Table bookings available for £60pp

THE EVE OF THE NEW YEAR at MR FOGG’S

For a trip back in time, rather than forward this New Year, head to Mr Fogg’s for a truly traditional Victorian themed soiree amongst friends. With the walls, doors ceilings and floors decked with bells, holly and enough of Phileas’ very own antique trinkets and paraphernalia to take you “Around The World in 80 Days”…no where else in London will allow you to celebrate in one place, whilst feeling as though you have experienced so many.

Guests with a bar ticket to Mr Fogg’s humble abode will be able to enjoy an infinite selection of drinks from a complimentary Belvedere Vodka and Moët & Chandon cocktail menu, as well as selected House spirits and mixers. Then those with tip-top table tickets will also enjoy a deliciously delightful, four-course taster menu from Mr Fogg’s kitchen. If that’s not enough to entice, they can also expect complimentary bottles of Belvedere Vodka and Moët & Chandon on arrival (to share between two).

With a live performance from a surprise band, and Mr Fogg’s own personal Disk Jockey playing a selection of gramophone classics throughout the eve, guests will be sure to have a joyous journey through time to the perfect Victorian knees up

DATE: Wednesday 31st December // TIME: 8pm – 4am // PRICE: £80 bar ticket (booked in November) £100 thereafter, £180 table ticket

BUNGA BUNGA AND COCOBANANAS UNITE FOR THE BLACK TIE BEACH BALL

This New Year’s Eve Bunga Bunga and Cocobananas will be coming together to bring a fusion of the very best of Italian and Brazilian culture to Battersea Bridge, with The Black Tie Beach Ball.

The ball will begin at Bunga Bunga, from 7pm, where guests will be welcomed with a complimentary Belvedere cocktail and then seated to enjoy a delicious seven-course Italian banquet, before heading over to the beach party at Cocobananas, where they can make waves on the dance floor and cut shapes cooler than a sea breeze. Then as they sail into the New Year and the countdown to 2015 commences, there will even be a special champagne toast courtesy of Moët & Chandon.

Those that don’t book in advance, and like to be fashionably late will be able to sneak into the after beach-party only, from 10pm. Fear not though, as you may have missed dinner, but from 1am party-goers will have access to the whole venue. The interconnecting doors will be opened and the sea of guests will flow freely between all three floors of DJs and entertainment.

Dress code will be Black Tie on The Beach. Boys think suit jackets and sailor jerry shorts, bow ties and beach balls and fine pocket squares and flip-flops. Then for the ladies it is ball gowns and bikinis (preferably both, not either or), satin tops, sarongs and stilettos, or kaftans and kitten heals.

DATE: Wednesday 31st December // TIME: 7pm – 4am // PRICE: £85 ball ticket, After party tickets £20 in advance, or £30 on the door

BEAVER LODGE NYE HOEDOWN

This New Year’s Eve let your hair down at The Beaver Lodge Hoedown. On entering this crazy cabin guests can expect a complimentary Moët & Chandon Imperial NV Brut reception, live music from Beaver Lodge’s own banjo player, and an all-American performance from the golden girls of The Gold Rush Cheerleading squad – ‘Bring it on’!

Then for those that prefer to get down ‘n’ dirty, rather than watching the acrobatics from a–far, there will be low and loose line-dancing, (walking in a straight line is always a more fun challenge when beavered), and of course, a cowboy style countdown tomidnight.

The evening will be hosted by the Beaver Lodge Committee, and their appointed DJ of choice, the Canadian chic cooler than ice hockey, Jamielisa.

So for a ‘dam’ good party head to Beaver Lodge this New Year’s

UNCLE BARTS NEW YEAR’S EVE HOUSE PARTY

This year, on Wednesday 31st December, Uncle Barts and his pals invite you to come to celebrate New Year’s Eve at their fifth annual house party at Barts, hidden within a private apartment block on Sloane Avenue.

Earlybird tickets will cost just £100 (£120 on the door), and for this, revellers can enjoy an all night party (9pm – 5am) inclusive of beer, wine, house spirits (for a house party) and a special Belvedere cocktail menu. Apartment block beats will be booming (obviously) and then, as the clock strikes midnight, there will be a complimentary Veuve Clicquot toast and a cheeky sing along to Auld Lange Syne!

Finally, for those that love a house party but have maybe out grown the desire to sit on the floor, stairs or fence, table booking tickets are also available. For £125 in advance, these also include a further complimentary bottle of Veuve Clicquot Yellow Label on arrival – gosh Uncle Barts is just such as generous guy!

So for the best of both worlds, the comfort and cosiness of home and craziness of a party too, knock on the door at Barts…

BLUEPRINT: NEW YEARS EVE
To make it as a top New Eve party in London, you need a little something more than good music. A good DJ is key, but if you don’t pull in a good crowd, then you’re just another run-of-the mill nightclub playing songs, and whether they’re good or bad really makes no difference, unless you’ve got the whole package. Blueprint 1988 – 2005 is the home of good tunes, strong booze and a whole lot of style, so you may want to check us out on New Years Eve and spend the countdown with people that love good music.

DATE: Wednesday 31st December // TIME: 9pm – 4am // PRICE: £15

  1. Picking an event in London is really difficult because it can make or break your night. Some good choice I generally go for members clubs or luxury london hotels that include dinner and a party. Lucy
