Some Really Good Barcelona Food I Can’t Stop Thinking About
Last month I was lucky enough to spend a few days in Barcelona, most of which was spent enjoying food…lots of food. Here are some dishes I had which I still can’t stop thinking about! Bunyols de Vent Bunyols de Vent is Catalan’s answer to the doughnut…and it was one…
Yes, No, Maybe: What (Not) To Do In Florence
Having soaked up the coastal vibes in Cinque Terre, I headed inland to Florence to spend a few days in the birth place of not only the Renaissance but also ICE CREAM (gelato). There’s also a Michelangelo’s David if you’ve heard of that. So today I’m sharing some yes, no,…
Lomo Love: the failed Melbourne film
The thing with analog photography is that you never know how it’s going to turn out. When I picked up the photos I took with the Lomo Holga I was disappointed to find all of them turned out like this …

Packing Mistakes I Made and Keep Making
One of my least favourite bits about travelling is packing and unpacking. I am the worst packer: I end up doing it last minute, forget things and I always tend to take too little with me. And for some reason I usually pack something that I really don’t need because…
The Blogposts That Never Where – Drafts Edition

Love this post!!! I have to agree with number one “seeing the sunrise,” that is always a special, important experience for me wherever I travel… it grounds you and helps you realize however different or foreign the place we find ourselves in the familiarity of dawn and the beginning of a new day affects us all.
I also love hearing other travelers’ stories…those forever will be some of my best memories abroad.

Great list! Good reminder that sometimes the little things make a world of a difference.
This reminds me so much when we went backpacking on Southeast Asia! How I miss traveling!

Love the feeling of getting off the plane!
I love this idea. It’s so true. Travel itself is such a magical experience. You have to remember all the little moments. A night alone in a 12 bed hostel is a luxury! :] // itsCarmen.com ☼ ☯
you are right the best things in travel are free
Gaining a beautiful sunrise oh yes, I normally photograph these. An upgrade on a flight never managed it but well done, on a ten hour flight even better. I flew on my birthday and still it didn’t happen. Enjoyed reading this post Lucy x
Such a great list! All these things are awesome, expecially the snore free hostel room!
Ah man this makes me want to go travelling so bad. Great post, as always. xx

Yup! Ironically, travel showed me how to enjoy the little, free things in life, and how to cherish moments we often take for granted while at home. Great post.
