7 Ice Skating Rinks To Visit in London

It’s that time of the year where ice rinks pop up like crazy and thousands of Londoners and tourists alike flock to them to enjoy pirouetting, dancing or (more on my level) skating around in a circle or figure of eight. There is no better way to experience the season than skating in the fresh air and enjoying a fresh cup of hot chocolate afterwards. Of all the wonderful places to do this, the best known is without a doubt the rink at the Natural History Museum, but more than enough options are available for the Christmas season. So grab those skates and check out one of these rinks.

  3. I haven’t been skating since moving to the UK 2.5 years ago! I do think it’s funny since I’ve seen a few of the skating rinks in London and often it’s been people sort of skating through puddles because the rinks don’t stay cold enough. I’m hoping to go this year, although probably just to the Brighton Pavilion one since it’s close to where I live.

  4. I love ice skating but never get to go! We only have one in Sydney that I know of and its too far away plus none of my friends and family like to ice skate! You are spoilt for choice in London! I should try and go at least once this Christmas!!

  5. Woohoo, I’m so excited it’s ice skating season! I somehow managed to not set foot/blade on a rink last year, so I’m going to make up for that big time this Christmas 🙂 Maybe I should make it my goal to go on every one on your list 🙂 xx
