Friday, Five Favourite Blog Reads of the Week

It’s Friday! What are everyone’s plan for the weekend? Tomorrow I am making myself decent and will be heading to zone 1 as I have some exciting things planned – and you might find some of them detailed here later. In the meantime why don’t you have a read of one of these posts I stumbled upon this week:

Europeans have a love hate relationship with low cost airlines and it takes a lot of crying and euro’s when you have to pay for extra luggage before you get to know the tricks. Jessica’s ultimate Guide for Surviving Low Cost Airlines in Europe can help you get there faster

I really really really want to go to Portugal. I had to bookmark and share Eva’s addictively-good post on her route and tips of and favourite drink, eat and see hotspots.

Jess and Steve from the Flying Nest are on an amazing adventure and they posted this honest overview of their first month including costs, lows and highs. Love reading these type of posts as it’s very recognisable and educational.

Monica from The Travel Hacks stripped down all cities and put together a 10 Free Things To Do In Every City – in the end it’s pretty much universally true!

My Japan trip is coming closer and closer and Katherine’s posts about exploring Tokyo have got me even more excited. And then scared because I also realised there is so much I need to prepare!

Bonus: if you are Dutch my guest blog on Team Confetti might be for you, I wrote the harsh expectations vs the reality about moving to London – spoiler: it ain’t too pretty.
